Lenoir Firecracker 5K

This 5k road race will begin at 8:00 a.m. at the Mulberry Recreation Center on Mulberry Street in Lenoir, N.C. Runners will start at the Mulberry Recreation Center and will run around the beautiful Broyhill Walking Park. It will return to the Mulberry Recreation Center and run up through lovely downtown Lenoir. The final leg of the race will wind back down the Kentwood area and conclude at the Mulberry Recreation. Giordana Crossroads Classic Criterium

The Giordana Crossroads Classic Criterium is a bike race held in downtown Lenoir. It is a short course run on closed-off streets. The 8th Annual City of Lenoir Triathlon

The City of Lenoir Triathlon will start and finish at the Lenoir Aquatic and Fitness Center. This year’s triathlon will be chip timed by Set up Events. The race will start at 8:00 with a 500 meter swim followed by a 20K bike and ending with a 5k on the Lenoir Greenway. The swim is in an outdoor Olympic size swimming pool. The bike route is on a picturesque back road with rolling hills and one challenging hill. Awards, door prizes and food will be given to all participants. Bridge to Bridge 2008

"100 miles of pure hill!" is how this bicycle ride is described. Starting at 9:00 a.m. in downtown Lenoir, the ride winds through scenic Caldwell County before crossing into Burke County to Highway 181 and to the gorgeous Blue Ridge Parkway. The final leg of the ride is on Highway 221 which leads to the Grandfather Mountain Gate for the last 2 miles. The cumulative climb is approximately 10,500 feet.. Lenoir Cyclocross Fall 08'

Lenoir, N.C. cyclocross is an exciting blend of both mountain and road cycling. Held at the Rotary Soccer Complex on Zack’s Fork Road, this year’s event will attract all levels of cyclists from all over the Southeastern region to compete in what is known as the "Steeple Chase" of bicycle racing! 10k on the Greenway

The Lenoir Aquatic and Fitness Center will be sponsoring a charming 10K run on the Lenoir Greenway the second weekend in November.. This event promises to be a delightful fall run beside a small creek, by the Wilson Park Soccer Field continuing along a wooded area to the turn around and back to the Lenoir Aquatic and Fitness Center. Trails to Trails Incredible Challenge

The Trails to Trails Incredible Challenge is an annual walking/biking event held from the beginning to the end of Daylight Savings Time. Sponsored by Healthy Caldwellians and Caldwell County Pathways, this program is designed to encourage regular walking as a means to better health. It is also intended to make community residents and visitors to our area aware of the multitude of parks and trails available in our beautiful county. The program offers a variety of walking challenges to fit the needs of all residents. With more than 30 parks and trails available, everyone can find some beautiful places to get physically active.
